The Clarke County Eagles moved to 5-0 and 2-0 in the Bull Run District with a 28-6 win in the rain at Warren County High School on Friday Night.

The Eagles controlled both sides of the ball but the weather slowed things down and the game remained close with an Eagles 14-6 lead at the half.

Warren County (0-5)(0-2) got their score from a 10 yard run from quarterback Robert Rutherford. The Eagles scored four times with Senior quarterback Sean McDonald scoring on runs of 3, 1 and 10. McDonald 7of 7 for 107 yards hit Hunter Rogers on a 23 yard TD pass for the Eagles other score. McDonald led all rushers with 137 yards on 25 carries.

The Eagles return home to "the Felt" next Friday as they face the Madison County Mountaineers on the Clarke County Sports Game of the Week. It will be the Eagles Homecoming Night.
