BERRYVILLE,VA (912/14)- The Clarke County Eagle football team improved their record to 2-0 with a 55-8 victory over the Stonewall Jackson Generals.
Hunter Rogers scored three times with runs of 59, 56, and 13 yards. Rogers gained 189 yards on 7 carries.
Sean McDonald scored on a 50 yard touchdown run and threw a 72 yard touchdown pass to Will Roper. McDonald was 4 of 10 for 101 yards.
For the second game in a row the Eagles also got scores from Jaxon Ottobre and Chris Keim. Ottobre went in from 8 yards out and Keim scored on a 10 yard scamper.
Matt Dang got his first score of the year with a 46 yard run to the house.
The Eagles defense held Stonewall to 66 yards rushing and 24 yards passing.
